College of Biological Science ecologist Dr. Ryan Norris offered his thoughts to the Associated Press on a research project that employed radio trackers to monitor moth migration.
The article appeared in more than 100 publications, including the Washington Post and the San Franciso Chronicle.
Norris, who was not involved with the project, said the researchers’ ability to get a close-up look at insect migration is significant.
A professor in the Department of Integrative Biology, Norris researches the behaviour, conservation and evolution of migratory birds and insects.
