Dr. Ann Pegoraro, the Lang Chair of Sport Management in the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics, discussed women taking on top positions with sports clubs with CBC News.  

Pegoraro told the news outlet the fact that women have had to overcome many roadblocks to get to top positions in sport may be precisely why they are valuable. 

The director of the International Institute for Sport Business and Leadership, Pegoraro researches gender equity, sport consumers, marketing and communication and is also the co-director of the National Network for Research on Gender Equity in Canadian Sport.
