The University of Guelph community is mourning the death of professor emeritus Denis Lynn, who died June 26.

Lynn worked as an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia at the time of his death.

Community members in the Department of Integrative Biology are creating an academic award in Lynn’s honour. The Lynn Medal in Zoology will be awarded as a convocation prize to the zoology major with the highest graduating average. The honour will include a $1,000 award and a medal.
