R is a programming language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. This workshop will introduce you to the dplyr package which makes tabular data manipulations easier by using a set of functions to extract and summarize insights from your data. The tidyr package works well with tidyr to quickly convert between different data formats (long v. wide) for graphing and analysis.

We highly recommend beginning with Intro to R and RStudio Part 1 as this workshop builds upon the material presented in Part 1. This is not an introductory workshop.

Please bring a laptop for your own use during the workshop. The laptop will need to have the latest versions of R and RStudio installed.

Please note: All software installation must be done before the workshop, please ensure that you followed any account creation or software installation instructions. Out of courtesy to the class we will not be able to troubleshoot software set up during class time.
