Updated: As of the evening of Nov. 5, 2024, the union representing Guelph Transit workers and the City of Guelph have reached a tentative agreement, averting a strike.
The Guelph Transit employees are set to strike on Nov. 7 at 12:01 a.m. If the strike happens, there will be an immediate service disruption across the transit system at that time. All Guelph Transit services would be suspended, including buses, on-demand transit, and mobility services. Please note: the strike would not impact GO bus services.
