As we have undertaken the switch to the new Gryphons at Work Human Resources Management System (HRMS), U of G is aware that some employees, particularly those who started their roles at the beginning of the school year, are experiencing issues with pay.

We know how important timely and accurate pay is for everyone’s daily lives and well-being. Ensuring you are paid promptly and accurately is a top priority.

As is often the case with an enterprise system change, there have been unforeseen challenges in implementing Gryphons at Work. These challenges have been compounded as we welcomed a large number of new employees in September such as teaching assistants, research assistants, sessional instructors and others.

The HR team, in close collaboration with administrators, is working directly with affected individuals to correct any pay discrepancies as quickly as possible. The HR and IT teams are also working diligently with our system provider to resolve these issues and assist employees with the new system.

What to do if your pay is impacted

Please ensure to monitor your pay, especially if you recently started at the University. If you notice a discrepancy in your pay, do not hesitate to submit a ticket through the HRMS Gryphons at Work site with the subject line “Outstanding Pay” and notify your department administrator. HR is prioritizing all tickets about pay discrepancies for quick resolution.

We deeply regret any stress this has caused and are working to resolve these issues as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone who has put in countless hours of work to input appointments and troubleshoot issues. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed.
