Important note: The GenEQ Advisory Group uses an inclusive definition of women that encompasses cisgender women, transwomen, genderqueer women, two-spirit, non-binary and gender non-conforming people who identify as women. Diversity of perspectives is important in our work to better understand the experiences of all women in our University community. The Advisory Group especially encourages applications from those who self-identify as Black, Indigenous or People of Colour. Nominations are welcome for people of any gender, as well as those who are interested in learning how to be an ally and advocate for women on campus. Expertise in gender equity is not a requirement to serve on the advisory group.
