Dr. Nita Chhinzer, an organizational management professor in the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics, discussed the concept of “time theft” with CBC Business, CTV Toronto and CTV Your Morning.
Chhinzer explained the concept comes from perceiving jobs as having strict schedules but noted employees should still be “compensated for completing work, without being penalized for productivity.”
