Dr. Kate Puddister, a justice policy researcher in the College of Social and Applied Social Sciences, discussed government oversight of law enforcement with The Canadian Press.

Puddister contributed her thoughts on police oversight amid ongoing testimony at the Public Order Emergency Commission, which is investigating the federal Liberal government’s use of the Emergencies Act last winter. 

A professor in the Department of Political Science, Puddister researches law and politics and criminal justice policy.
