Dr. Madhur Anand, an ecologist at the Ontario Agricultural College, reflected on the importance of COP15 (the 15th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity) in a commentary for The Hill Times.
“We must work at the interface of disciplines to find the kinds of solutions that bring heads and hearts together, achieve human well-being and environmental well-being, and balance understanding and equitable global change,” Anand wrote.
The director of the Guelph Institute for Environmental Research, Anand is a professor in the School of Environmental Sciences.
