Agribusiness researcher Dr. Simon Somogyi spoke to the Toronto Star. for an article that discussed why potatoes in Canada have not yet been affected by inflation. 

Somogyi said potatoes are a fresh, nutritious and affordable product compared to other grocery items.  

The Arrell Chair in the Business of Food and a professor in the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management, Somogyi researches agri-food value chain analysis and management.
