Dr. Sean Lyons, a professor in the Department of Management, spoke to The Globe and Mail about research he has conducted looking at generational differences between those who want to return to offices and those who would prefer to continue to work from home.
Lyons commented that while many would assume that young people are the most eager to embrace a hybrid working model of home and office work so as not to have to commute, his team found that not to be the case.
Lyons’s research concerns inter-generational differences and their impacts on workplace dynamics and managing people.
