Student Wellness is also offering two important mental health training opportunities on Jan. 28. Intro sessions start at specific times; training is available on demand.

  • LivingWorks START – 8:30 to 8:45 a.m. – Learn suicide prevention skills, including how to recognize when someone is thinking about suicide and how to connect them to help and support.
  • Beyond the Books Training – 10 to 11:30 a.m. – Understand the prevalence of mental challenges and illness. Learn to identify signs of troubling behaviour and how to engage in discussion to determine if referral to a professional is needed.
