Norm O’Reilly, a professor in the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management, spoke with several news outlets about the push for many sports franchises to change their names that many have deemed racists or offensive.

The director of the International Institute for Sport Business and Leadership in the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics at U of G, O’Reilly is a leading scholar in the business of sport, studying the marketing and sponsorship of sport, as well as tourism management.
