Nominations are now being accepted for individuals outside of the University community who might be considered for appointment to the University’s Board of Governors.

To nominate an individual to this position, visit the University Secretariat website. There, you’ll find details on the nomination and election process. Nominations are due by Dec. 16.

What does the Board of Governors do?
The Board is one of the two highest governing bodies at the University of Guelph. Members help shape the future direction of the University and ensure its resources are stewarded responsibly.

The Board deals with a wide range of matters including approving the budget, tuition rates, major renovations, new buildings, and hiring the University’s president.
