From Nov. 2 to 11, U of G will host an exhibit at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair at Exhibition Place in Toronto.

Experience and explore how U of G’s approach to science, technology, the arts and entrepreneurship is changing the way we grow, think about and consume food. The exhibit showcases how our interactions with the environment, animals and ingredients can make us healthier, create high-tech jobs and protect our natural resources.

Explore the exhibit to:

  • Immerse yourself in a hydroponic vertical farming unit
  • See how lights can be used to grow plants on Mars
  • Gaze at the monster that our obsession with plastic has become
  • Discover how aquaponics could change urban food production
  • Check out a robot that can pick you the perfect pepper
  • Experience a state-of-the-art dairy facility through virtual reality

See you at the Royal!
