prof headshotProf. Madhur Anand was interviewed on The Morning Show on AM 640 about the new Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change  report that found limiting global warming to an increase of 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels would be nearly impossible.

The report also found that humanity has 10 to 30 more years than scientists previously thought in which to kick its carbon habit.

Anand, a professor in U of G’s School of Environmental Sciences, discussed the context and significance of the report published Oct. 8.

She studies climate change ecology, ecological modelling, and human behaviour and ecology.
