Prof. Len RitterProfessor emeritus Len Ritter appeared in a Sept. 9 CTV News report about a new study commissioned by Environmental Defence Canada.

The report found that several common food items tested positive for glyphosate, the active ingredient of a chemical herbicide found in many agricultural and gardening products.

A retired professor in the School of Environmental Sciences, Ritter discussed the report’s data and findings with CTV News.

Ritter studies pesticides and human health, and pesticide use in fruits and vegetables.
