U of G’s Jill Vigers appeared in a CTV News story talking about BlindSquare, a new initiative that allows people with visual impairments to navigate the campus.

CTV reported that U of G is the first university to implement the wayfinding app.

Vigers, manager of architectural design in Physical Resources, explained how BlindSquare works with QR codes located around campus that provide information when swiped with the smartphone app.
