Last month, two groups of U of G change-makers each received $1,300 from the Gyphons Care program for innovative projects intended to help improve life on campus and beyond.
Through Gryphons Care, U of G community members fund initiatives meant to make the University a better place.
Andrew Hyde’s U of G Labyrinth Project will create a portable canvas labyrinth for meditation or prayer that can be set up in locations across campus. Experience the labyrinth on-campus May 7 during Be Well, Be Safe week.
Madison Plumb and Murtaza Bahrainwala represented a talented group of U of G students designing a preliminary version of the Guelph Hyperloop transportation system. The team hopes to compete in the Hyperloop Competition this fall in California.
