Florida produce could become more expensive after Hurricane Irma, said Prof. Michael von Massow in a recent interview with Global News.

The professor in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics said orange juice and grapefruit prices may rise following substantial damage from the storm that battered Florida this past weekend. However, the recent strength of the Canadian dollar may help keep prices down, von Massow said. He studies food value chains and grocery store prices.
