Post-doctoral researcher Tyler Flockhart, Integrative Biology, was interviewed in a Maclean’s story Feb. 27. The story looked at the issue of outdoor feline populations and what cities can do to control the rising number of outdoor cats. Flockhart, who is leading a study on outdoor cats and where they can be found, discussed how the number of feral cats is increasing and if conventional strategies for controlling the cat population are effective.
