Prof. Amar Mohanty, director of the Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre, was profiled in a Nov. 21 Maclean’s feature, Bright Ideas, on great inventions developed at universities. The article looked at how Mohanty and his research team enabled single-serve coffee pods to be composted. Mohanty studies engineering of sustainable new materials for the bioeconomy.
