Prof. Kate Parizeau, Geography, was interviewed for a World Food Day story that ran in Postmedia newspapers across Canada, including the Toronto Sun, Oct. 16. The story looked at the importance of reducing food waste in households. Parizeau discussed how her research team found that two-thirds of discarded food could still be eaten. She studies food waste and waste management policies.
