An allergen detector developed at the University of Guelph was featured in a CTV News story June 29 and a CBC News story July 4. The detector, made by researchers at the BioNano Laboratory, was also profiled in a Waterloo Record story July 3. Prof. Suresh Neethirajan was interviewed for the stories, which look at how the device can detect peanuts and gluten in food products. Neethirajan studies agricultural nano-technology and microfluidics.
