Kelly-MecklingThe president of the University of Guelph Faculty Association was elected to the executive of the Canadian Association of University Teachers on April 30.

Prof. Kelly Meckling, Human Health and Nutritional Sciences, was voted in as a member-at-large for 2016-17.

She has served on a number of U of G committees since joining the faculty in 1991. She is a faculty representative on the University Senate, and serves on the Board of Governors pension committee and the bachelor of science program committee.

Meckling studies the role of nutrition and diet in normal animal development and the development of chronic disease.
