Profs. Tina Widowski and Ian Duncan, Animal Biosciences, were featured in the Globe and Mail May 2. The article examined the debate over cage-free eggs and benefits for chickens. Widowski, director of the Campbell Centre for the Study of Animal Welfare, holds the Egg Farmers of Canada Research Chair in Poultry Welfare. Duncan studies animal welfare and behaviour.
