SylvainProf. Sylvain Charlebois was interviewed by Maclean’s April 16. He discussed the trend to support Canadian grocery products. He was featured on the popular CBC Radio program The Current April 5 as part of a story on high-tech in farming practices. The marketing and consumer studies professor also did a live interview with the Business News Network Tuesday about a $4.3-billion compensation deal for dairy farmers. He was also interviewed by CBC TV in Montreal April 5 about a potential price war among grocery retailers resulting from Sobeys slashing prices on thousands of items. On April 2, he had an op-ed on bisphenol A published in the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business. Charlebois studies food economics, distribution and policy, and is a member of U of G’s Food Institute.
