The University’s flags will be lowered to half-mast Feb. 1 to mark the funeral service for Prof. Karen Gough, who died Jan. 25.

Gough, a professor in the Department of Marketing and Consumer Studies, joined U of G in 1992.

Visitations will be held on Sunday, Jan. 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wall-Custance Funeral Home and Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph.

The funeral service will be Monday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m. at the Dublin Street United Church, 68 Suffolk St. W., Guelph. A reception will follow.

A tree will be planted in her memory in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest in the Arboretum in September.
