Bargaining teams for the University of Guelph and USW 4120 – representing administrative, clerical and technical staff on the main campus – met Aug. 26 to negotiate a new collective agreement. The last contract expired April 30, 2014.

The union requested the Ontario Ministry of Labour issue a “no board” report. The legal strike/lockout date is Sept. 13 at 12:01 a.m.

Mediation is scheduled for Sept. 10 and 12.
