The Council of Ontario Universities (COU) has launched http://mycareerinfo.ca/, a website designed to help students, graduates and entry-level employees match their education, skills and goals to jobs. The website is intended to complement career services already offered by Ontario universities.

“Universities teach our students so much more than what the name of their degree suggests. They teach creativity, critical thinking and problem solving, intellectual resilience, and how to clearly communicate ideas,” says COU president and CEO Bonnie Patterson. “This job site will help students find the resources needed to transfer their skills into a career that fits with their education, competencies and passions, and point them to the rich resources available on campus.”

The COU site features resume and interview tips, online budgeting tools, information on job market trends, and extensive job listings. It also provides easy access to university career and student services, and will be updated regularly with news from the marketplace.
