As the University of Guelph begins its second cycle of integrated planning, community members are invited to share ideas and advice regarding future directions for the University at a Nov. 8 workshop hosted by provost and vice-president (academic) Maureen Mancuso.

The University has been engaged in integrated planning since 2004. Mancuso says the collaborative process “allows us to systematize our planning efforts into a multi-year framework that ensures a match between budgets and objectives, between administrative structures and the academic enterprise, and between accountability and results.”

She invites faculty, staff and students to join her in Peter Clark Hall from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. “This is an opportunity for interdisciplinary collaboration and community-wide involvement in the development of University priorities and goals, particularly in respect to our leadership and strengths in the areas of food, animal and human health, the environment and communities.”

Register for the workshop by Nov. 3; click here for the web link.
