Mary MacLeod, interim manager of advancement research, has been awarded the Professional of the Year Award from the international organization APRA, the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement. The award recognizes a professional who has made a significant impact on his or her organization’s fundraising success by going above and beyond the scope of their core duties and played a leadership role in their organization.

MacLeod joined the Department of Alumni Affairs and Development last summer and was nominated for the APRA award by her U of G colleagues. She will receive the award at the organization’s international conference in Austin, Texas, in late July.
