Five members of the Gryphon men’s golf team is competing in the Canadian University Championship May 30 to June 3 after tying for third in the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Championships this past fall.

The Gryphons are playing against 155 other golfers from post-secondary institutions across Canada for both team and individual titles at the Royal Ashburn Golf Club in Ashburn, Ont.

Captain Eric Pattenaude led the Guelph team this past year, placing fifth in the individual race at the OUA Championships. Nick Maracle, Brendan McKee, Nicholas Powell and Gray West are also representing the University of Guelph at the national competition.
