This two-day Writing Tune-up: Grammar series is open to graduate and undergraduate students, faculty and staff at the University of Guelph and members of the public. You may attend the second day without having attended the first.

This session will cover the following topics:

– Correcting common grammar errors: avoid some of the common pitfalls of grammar

– Avoiding errors of misuse: learn some of the common errors with words and expressions

– Going beyond basic grammar: learn about some of the writing errors that affect clarity, meaning and tone
