A free panel discussion will also be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at PJ’s in the Atrium with four of the award winners of the annual Food Innovation Awards, representing restaurants from across Canada, and four U of G professors.
Profs. Lisa Duizer, Art Hill, Bruce McAdams and Statia Elliott will be on the panel, which will look at the role of restaurant in society and current food trends.
“For Guelph’s research community, it opens the door for them to delve deeper into their own fields on interest to ask questions that, perhaps, they had never even considered,” said Anita Stewart, U of Guelph food laureate.
