The University of Guelph community is mourning the death over the weekend of Kaiya D’Souza, an Honours Bachelor of Science (BSCH) student in Biological Science. 

Campus flags will be lowered to half-mast in Kaiya’s honour on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Details on the memorial service are shared below:

Date: Tuesday, Feb. 18

Time: Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Celebration begins at 7:00 p.m.

Location: St. Volodymyr Cultural Centre: 1280 Dundas St. W, Oakville, L6M 4H9

On Tuesday and Wednesday this week, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., a counsellor will be available for drop-in conversations in the East Residence Life Office. This is located beside the laundry rooms in Glengarry. Counselling services also have daily drop-in hours or students can book an appointment with a member of their team.
