To support faculty and staff with a deeper understanding of how to harness the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the University of Guelph’s Centre of Advancing Responsible and Ethical Artificial Intelligence (CARE-AI), is offering a blended learning course designed to demystify AI and equip participants with the knowledge and skills to leverage AI capabilities in the workplace. Participants will gain hands-on experience and tips for using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT.
This course will be delivered in two parts:
Part I: CARE About AI – Introducing Artificial Intelligence (Online and Self-directed)
This course will be made available Oct. 17 to Nov. 7. It will be approximately 60 to 90 minutes in length.
Part II: Using Generative AI (Facilitator-led)
This course will be held on Nov. 7 and will be two hours in length.
Facilitating this session will be Kevin Matsui, Managing Director, CARE-AI.
