Rural development and capacity development researcher Dr. Helen Hambly discussed internet connectivity in rural areas with The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business magazine.
Hambly said work to bring high-speed connections to rural areas needs to accelerate, especially amid agriculture’s digital revolution.
“…The folks who are not connected to high-speed internet needed this yesterday,” she said.
A professor in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development, Hambly researches knowledge mobilization, information technology and telecommunications in agricultural innovation systems.
