Agribusiness researcher Dr. Simon Somogyi spoke to the Financial Post about how inflation is causing “unprecedented” food price increases.
Somogyi said the price increases are “not good news for families.” He also said he’s “staggered by the increase in butter prices,” which are likely due to rising feed costs.
