Indira Naidoo-Harris

Indira Naidoo-Harris, the University of Guelph’s associate vice-president, diversity and human rights, appeared on CTV News Channel’s “Your Vote” segment, on Thursday, Sept. 2.

Naidoo-Harris took part in a panel discussion on women’s election issues and offered her thoughts on what’s needed to ensure that the many women who lost or left jobs when the pandemic began can re-enter the workforce.

Before joining U of G in 2019, Naidoo-Harris served as Ontario’s minister of the status of women and led the Women’s Economic Empowerment Strategy and the Strategy for Gender-Based Violence.
