Prof. Keith Warriner appeared on CBC’s Marketplace on Oct. 26 in a segment about the cleanliness of airplane cabins.

The story got picked up by MSN, The Weather Network and The Sun.

CBC producers tested airplane seat belts, tray tables, bathrooms and blankets. A microbiologist and professor in the Department of Food Science, Warriner was consulted by CBC about the findings.

He studies pathogens, food safety and fresh produce.
