Prof. Evan Fraser will appear on CBC’s The Current on Oct. 11 at 8 a.m. talking about the future of food under climate change.
Director of the Arrell Food Institute, Fraser will talk about the recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report’s major recommendations, which suggest people consume less meat and adopt a more plant-based diet.
He will also discuss how climate change already affects the way food is being farmed in Canada and internationally.
Fraser is a professor in the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics at U of G. He studies food security, climate change and rural agricultural policy.
