University administrators, faculty associations, unions and other staff associations at the University of Guelph, University of Toronto and Queen’s University have been working to develop a new pension plan to cover employees at all three universities.

Once implemented, the plan will be available to other Ontario universities.

As a multi-employer and jointly sponsored defined benefit pension plan, the new plan represents a unique opportunity to reshape the retirement income system for Ontario universities. www.universitypension.ca
