Political science professor Adam Sneyd will be lecturing on a new topic Oct. 30 – zombies – all for a good cause.
The 300-plus students in Sneyd’s politics of development and underdevelopment course dared him to auction off a lecture in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Dare Campaign, which helps to fund the fight against AIDS in Africa.
The students were provided with four possible topics that Sneyd would weave into a lecture on international development: sex and lies, song lyrics, corruption and aid organizations, and zombies.
Zombies emerged as the winning lecture, raising nearly $1,500 for the Dare campaign.
