A vigil will be held Friday, January 10 for U of G graduate students Ghanimat Azhdari and Milad Ghasemi Ariani who died in the Ukraine International Airlines crash on January 8.
War Memorial Hall opens at 7 p.m. Remarks will begin at 8 p.m.
“We are deeply saddened to hear of the tragic loss of two of our students,” said president Franco Vaccarino. “Our thoughts go out to the families of these two students and to anyone else affected by this tragedy. Any loss to our campus community touches all of us.”
A live stream of the event will be available at 7 p.m. on January 10.
