Join us for Thriving in Action, a new online program at the University of Guelph. Thriving in Action will help you move from languishing to flourishing throughout your time in university. Build motivation, optimism and resilience, and learn how to integrate those skills into your work as a student. In each workshop, you will learn and practice both wellness and learning strategies that will help you be the student you want to be. Join us for one or all four workshops this spring and learn how to thrive. Workshops are offered online and will be delivered via Zoom. This program is offered by the Library and Student Wellness.
If you attend all four workshops, you can obtain a letter of recognition for your participation.
Workshop 4: Coping with Difficulties
Difficulties are a normal part of life that we all experience. But that doesn’t mean that they are easy to deal with! In this Thriving in Action Session, we will talk about how to cope with difficulties. You will develop skills in resilience and self-compassion as well reframe your thinking to learn from difficult situations. This workshop is also offered on Tuesday, October 5, 1:00-2:20 pm.

- Connections on Monday, November 1 from 1:30-2:50 p.m
- Finding Balance on Monday, November 8 from 1:30 – 2:50 p.m.
- Coping with Difficulties on Monday, November 22 from 1:30 – 2:50 p.m.
- Mindfulness and the Present Moment on Monday, November 15 from 1:30 – 2:50 p.m.
