Feeling a sense of connection is directly linked not only with positive wellbeing but with academic success. Connectedness helps reduce major risk factors that can be barriers to scholastic thriving.

This workshop will support the development of connection with our very selves, with friends and family, and with our campus, as well as tapping into our shared humanity can help us with healthy decision-making, genuine intimacy and self-compassion.

Thriving in Action, is a new online program at the University of Guelph. Thriving in Action will help you move from languishing to flourishing throughout your time in university. Build motivation, optimism, and resilience and learn how to integrate those skills into your work as a student. In each workshop, you will learn and practice both wellness and learning strategies that will help you be the student you want to be.
