Student Nominations Open for Senate Byelections

Nominations to the University of Guelph Senate open Tuesday, Sept. 8. and will be accepted until Friday, Sept. 18 at 3 p.m. Byelections will be held from Monday, Sept. 28 to Wednesday, Sept. 30 (ballots will be sent via Gryph Mail). Visit the University Secretariat’s website for more information and nomination forms.  

PhD Thesis Defence: Brooke Struck

Brooke Struck, a PhD candidate in the Department of Philosophy, will defend his thesis on "The Critical Stance: Ernst Cassirer and the Realist-Empiricist Dispute in the Philosophy of Science." His adviser is Prof. Jeff Mitscherling. Location: MacKinnon Building, Room 346
