U of G’s news service is hosting a workshop on “How to Write for Conversation Canada.”

The workshop will feature Conversation Canada editor Scott White, who will discuss effective commentaries and how to pitch and write for the publication.

Conversation Canada is a national online publication that delivers analysis and explanatory journalism from the academic and research community directly to the public. Professional editors work directly with academics and researchers to publish articles for a wide audience.

It is an effective venue for showcasing your research and expertise, as articles often attract national and sometimes international media interest.

Conversation Canada accepts commentaries written by faculty and PhD students.
